What we know about you
Short version: your email address, so the brief can reach you. It is never sold, and you can have it deleted at any time.

What we collect
If you subscribe, we collect the email address you give us. That is the whole of it. There is no account to create, no password, no profile, and nothing else is asked for.
If you email us, we have your message and your address, so that we can reply.
If you subscribe to the paid Full Brief, your card details go directly to our payment provider. We see that a subscription is active; we never see or store the card number.
Why we collect it
To send the brief you asked for, and to tell you about changes to it. That is the only reason. We do not use your address to sell you anything else, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone — not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to other publishers.
Who else touches it
Sending a daily email and taking a payment both need outside services: an email delivery provider sends the brief, and a payment provider handles subscriptions. Each of them receives only what it needs to do that job, and they act on our instructions rather than their own.
Nobody else gets your address. We do not share it with advertisers, partners or sponsors.
What the site records
The site keeps simple, aggregate counts — how many people opened a page, how many used a subscribe button — so we know which stories are worth writing. These counts are not tied to your name, and they are not used to build a picture of you.
How long we keep it
We keep your address while you are subscribed. When you unsubscribe we stop sending immediately and remove you from the active list. We keep a record that you unsubscribed, so that you are not added again by mistake.
Unsubscribing
Every brief has an unsubscribe link at the foot of it. One click and you are off the list — you do not have to explain yourself, and you do not have to log in to anything.
If a link ever fails, reply to the email or write to sunny@sbsentinel.live and we will take you off by hand.
Deleting your details
You can ask us to delete your address and everything attached to it at any time. Email sunny@sbsentinel.live with the request, and we will do it and confirm that it is done.
The same address is the place to ask any other question about your data.
Changes to this page
If how we handle your address changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top tells you when.
